ok ladies this ones for you!!!!

I am so excited about this one!!!!

My son wants BYU cougar bedding for Christmas. I searched and there really isnt anything. So I came up with a plan. Solid white duvet cover.(I'm using my swagbucks credit to get a cheap one on Amazon.)
Were are going to applique a giant Y right in the middle and then applique the word cougars out of some BYU fabric I found. When I say we...I really mean April.
She is AMAZING!!! I love to barder with her for the babies outgrown clothes and she whips us up the most AMAZING stuff ever. So really she gets all the credit. I am so excited to have this for him and can't wait to post pictures when it is all done. We also have some fun stuff coming our way soon from April that I will post soon!!

almost free shoes!!!

So I cashed in my http://www.mypoints.com/ (If you want to sign up, I can send you a referral and I think we both get bonus points). All I do is click on emails and then close them, print coupons, or if I do any online shopping I click through them. I cash in my points for giftcards usually to gap or target.
I had a 10.00 one to gap. I had a few mintues to go look around and while I was there all their clearance was extra 25% off. I snagged these and it only cost me .67!!!

The baby will either get them for christmas or Ill sell them on eBay to pay for something else for her.
The list is starting to grow? How are we all doing out there?

adding to the Christmas stash...

One of my favorite things is the Kohl's 10.00 gift cards they send in the mail. You only have to spend 10.00 to use them so its FREE!!!
I went by myself, which was a treat, and hunted the store for the best treasure I could find.
I ended up with...
This was on clearance for 5.20
and this...

this was 90% off. Normally 50.00 got it for 5.00
So I paid .56 for both gifts.
Sign up at Kohls.com and you'll get these coupons in the mail and through email!
Have a happy Sunday!

who wants to do Christmas for free???

So as some of you know I did Christmas all for free last year. It was just a challenge I had given myself. Well I am doing it again this year. I have already started and I will let you know how and when I add new things to my stash. Some things I will not post so that family that read will not know.
One of my FAVORITE tricks is transfering perscriptions. They let you do it back and forth and don't seem to care. I go back and forth between Smith's Marketplace which is Fred Meyer other places and Walgreens. Walgreens is pretty good about carrying some of those hot christmas items.
I also save all my referral credits from sites and use those.
So far I have this for my daughter...free with credit from gilt.com
It's for all her soccer gear. I am in the works of getting her a soccer scholarship for the spring!!

I got this with my credits from groupon.com. I get a credit everytime someone buys a groupon from my referal.
This will have her name on it.

I just got my husband a 50.00 gift card to nike for cashing in all coke points. Too me about 6 months to save up!

Off to a good start!!!

last week for amazon shoe clearance!!!!!!!!

and they just took even more markdowns. Hurry fast!!!

Orginazation, function, preperation!

I was talking to someone recently about staying on task when the kids ask for something every 5 seconds. As a full time student, mom, wife, chef, chauffeur, friend, neighbor, house cleaner, and so on...my day is packed. I really don't have a lot of down time. So to keep the house clean, laundry done, food prepared and so on, I need to stay on task.
Some things I do that REALLY help are
1. filled sippy cups in the fridge-I make sure there are always a few water bottles, sippy cups, bottles...whatever it may be, filled and ready to go. Then they can get them for themselves.
2. Snacks in baggies ready to grab-my kids are big eaters and are hungry all the time. I keep carrots and fruit in the bottom drawer of the fridge. I also put cereal in baggies that they can grab. This is so much cheaper than the other snacks you can by and fortified with vitamins.
3. Activity Bins- if I have to study or work on eBay I tell my kids to grab a bin if they are bored. I have one with puzzles, one with coloring supplies and so on. If you keep these big bins and seperate toys in categories they are so much easier to keep organized and easier for the kids to handle themselves.
4. Give them a baby wipe- again if I need them busy or they are fighting or just simply makig me crazy...I hand them each a hand full of baby wipes and have them wipe down doors, handles, molding, walls...whatever they can find. Amazing the stuff they'll clean off and be entertained.
Please share your ideas as well. These are just some few that work for us.

That I am an amazon associate. What does that mean? I advertise and search out deals for them and I get paid. When you shop through my links, I get paid. So I would love it if you by chance remembered to click through the logo on the rtop when shopping for anything on amazon.

Oh and did you know there is an amazing give away coming. Just sayin....
